What the Shabbaton Includes:

Friday Night Dinner
A beautiful and delicious Shabbos meal at the My Extended Family Headquarters filled with warmth, singing, and family connection.

Shabbos Morning Tefillah and Kiddush
A short and uplifting tefillah designed for parents and children together followed by a light kiddush.

Shabbos Lunch in the Community
Families will enjoy a warm and welcoming lunch in the homes of local Flatbush families near Mayan Yisroel. This is the heart of the experience and gives every parent and child a true taste of belonging.

Shabbos Afternoon Programming
Everyone returns to Headquarters for an afternoon filled with:
• A meaningful class for single parents, Fun and engaging activities for the children, Time to relax and connect with other families

Who Can Attend

Single parents and their children who live in Flatbush or nearby neighborhoods. Families who live farther away will be offered assistance finding a host home for Shabbos if needed.

Our Goal

To give single parent families a complete Shabbos experience filled with love, connection, community support, and Jewish pride all within their own neighborhood.
